There will be Living History Camps and Suttlers at the Diamond Don RV Park, open to the public Saturday from 10:00-6:00 and Sunday 10:00-2:00.  No Charge

There will be a Night Cannon Firing at 8:30 pm and Fireworks at 10:00 pm at the Diamond Don RV Park.  Public invited.  These events are included in the $10 cover charge for the Ball.

Jefferson was the shipping port to the Mississippi.  Event includes horse drawn artillery, large cannons, gunboat, steam train, weapons demonstrations, trades and suttlers.  Everyone Welcome – spectators, civilian and military re-enactors.

Saturday Narrated Historical Train Day Tours, scouting probes & skirmishes:  11:30, 2:00, 3:30 & 5:00

 

Sunday Narrated Historical Train Day Tours, scouting probes & skirmishes:  & Naval Battle:  11:30 and 1:00

 

Come ride a live steam train and experience the story of The Andrews Raid, the Civil War’s most gripping railroad story.  See the living history camps along the river, and the soldiers from the North and South in scouting probes & skirmishes, complete with cannons and gunboat.  Keep your seat on the train as the battle rages around you.
